2023 U.S. Women's Championship

 

The U.S. Women’s Chess Championship returns this fall featuring twelve of the nation’s top female players fighting for their share of a $152,000 prize fund. The tournament will consist of 11 rounds of classical chess, played in a round-robin (all play all) format.

The 2023 U.S. Chess & U.S. Women's Chess Championships Opening Ceremony & US Chess Hall of Fame Inductions will be held on Wednesday, October 4th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at CITYPARK, Ultra Club, 180 N. 22nd Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. Purchase Tickets.

The 2023 U.S. Chess & U.S. Women's Chess Championships Closing Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 18 from 5:30pm - 10:00pm at the Chase Park Plaza Sonesta, 212 Kingshighway Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108. Purchase Tickets.

In addition, the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis will sponsor the “$64,000 Fischer Bonus Prize”. Any player that finishes the U.S. Championships field with a perfect 11-0 score shall be awarded an additional $64,000.
